Home Buying Process

1. Pre-Approval

1. Pre-Approval

1. Pre-Approval

Speak with a lender and secure a mortgage pre-approval. This benefits you by turning you into a cash buyer, which will save you money and provide leverage in multiple-offer situations. It also gives you the confidence in knowing you qualify!

2. Agency & MLS

1. Pre-Approval

1. Pre-Approval

All agents have access to the same MLS system, but not all agents provide the same level of service. 100% of my clients choose me as their exclusive buyers agent. Any sign in any yard - call me first, including FSBO homes.

3. Home Search

1. Pre-Approval

3. Home Search

I’ll provide you with a search tool that directly links to the MLS. You can request showings, save searches, get notifications, and send me messages, all in one place. You will see an average of 8-10 homes before finding the right one. The key to finding the right home is your feedback on homes you do see to give me a better idea of what to search for!

4. The Offer

5. Earnest Money

3. Home Search

Determine a purchase price and terms that you’re comfortable with, and we’ll make an offer on the home to the sellers. I’ll negotiate on your behalf and we will come to an agreement that everyone is content with!

5. Earnest Money

5. Earnest Money

5. Earnest Money

This is the check you write with your offer; it will be cashed when the offer is accepted. The amount is anywhere from $0 - full price. It is held in a non-interest bearing trust account until closing, when it will be returned to you as a credit.

6. Inspection

5. Earnest Money
